of all student queries. The student support services department endeavours to co-ordinate all student
queries and ensure timeous and appropriate feedback.

STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES
Facilitation is delivered through contact classes, online, blended mode by academic staff, who have extensive experience in the Higher Education and Training space. With a good combination of academic staff, with both industry experience and research expertise, the FHE student has access to expertise and practical business experience bundled to offer a dynamic and enriched learning experience.
In order to support the student in studying effectively, the student has access to the lecturer to address areas of concern. One-on-one support includes access to individual consultations, telephonic support, emails, zoom/team sessions, etc. With the implementation of the LMS, the student can access pre-recorded lecture videos, complete and submit assignments online, chat with fellow students and the lecturer online, access results, etc.

LEARNER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LMS)
Felix Higher Education and Training (Pty) Ltd’s eLearning System is an online web-based platform that students engage as a gateway in seeking knowledge by accessing quality syllabus aligned videos, webinars, module specific articles, case studies , course material, self- assessment instruments after every topic along with other important academic administrative support services like being able to access assignments, uploading of completed assignments, viewing assessment feedback and final results for the modules.
Felix Higher Education’s eLearning platform offers learners, academics and selected external stakeholders’ the opportunity to network and exchange views related to their field of study. The focus of the system is to improve communication and data transmission between learners and Felix Higher Education and Training (Pty) Ltd.
The Institutions Learner Management System apart from providing a seamless flow of information enhancing and providing an enriched teaching and learning experience also provides full proof support in the institution’s preparedness to move towards paperless operations by providing checks and balances in students registrations, record maintenance processes, programme rollout tasks from an administrative perspective and maintaining and archiving statutory mandated documentation of the institution.

Felix Higher Education and Training’s Reference Library – the heart of academic learning and research forms an integral part of the institution and shares in the quest for academic excellence. The library not only provides the basic needs of the users, but also provides a portal to a wealth of research materials, including online databases and journals. The libraries’ website provides essential information about library hours and services.
FHE has subscribed to LIBWIN 2019 standard with ACTIVE CONNECT. This automation system aspect includes the cataloguing of media items and borrowers, and the carrying up of these two parties of transactions (loans, returns and renews). Furthermore, this web-based system allows a self-service option available to users, allowing them to search the catalogue and interact with the resource centre.

CODE OF CONDUCT
Library rules are meant to protect all individuals that make use of the library. A silent atmosphere is essential for reading, studying and conducting research. Kindly abide by the following rules:
• Silence must always be observed.
• No bags are allowed into the library.
• Library books can only be utilised in the library.
• Food and beverages may not be brought in the library.
• Keep the library neat all the time. Use the bins provided.
• Vandalising of library materials will not be tolerated.
• Use of cell phones in the library is prohibited. Please set to silent mode.
• The library will not accept responsibility for any loss of belongings incurred whilst in the library.
• The librarian has the right to request a user to leave if he/she is found to be violating any of the library rules.
• In case of an emergency, the alarm will be sounded, students need not panic but to follow staff instructions and directions accordingly.
