In South Africa, Project Management skills are in demand in all sectors and there is a critical need for competent practitioners who can work as project co-ordinators, project leaders and project managers.
The Higher Certificate in Project Management provides for an inclusive set of competencies that will enable a person to manage, co-ordinate or support simple to moderately complex projects in any business sector.
The qualification includes project management competencies required locally and internationally and a selection of management skills that are crucial to a project practitioner.
The modules are designed to provide students with a sound understanding of the core issues in relation to project management, where students would use business and related sector contexts in their studies.
